Amphibian modified by the Chinese with turboprop engines and then called a Qing-6. Never been reported when it was operational, but first noted here in this museum in 1999.

One of many star exhibits at the Ukrainian State Museum of Aviation, this Beriev Be-6 is one of very few left in the world.

This flying boat (with its various schemes/serials over the years) on its lake is one of the iconic images from this wonderful museum.

What a perfect pose. Even a matching dinghy. Now reprinted in blue as 9013, this Beriev is thought in some circles not to have served in China, instead being delivered direct from Russia for display, even though it is a Chinese Qing-6 turboprop conversion.
