Bop Air was the "national" airline of the South African bantustan of Bophuthatswana. It was an airline with multiple identities - first established as Mafikeng Air Service in 1978, renamed Mmabatho Air Service the following year, then Bop Air in 1986, and, finally Sun Air in post-apartheid South Africa. Sun Air was liquidated in 1999.

Delivered to Air Illinois as N749LL in 1980. To Air Maritime as C-GRXE in 1984. To Bradley Air Services then to British Aerospace as G-BMJU in 1985. To Bopair as ZS-LSO in 1986. Renamed to Sun Air in 1994. To Executive Aerospace in 1996. Withdrawn from use at Johannesburg in 1995 and later scrapped.
