VH-KZQ gets ready to depart on the first flight of the day (7am) to Newcastle-Belmont. It had arrived 15 minutes earlier. The 30-minute flight tracked along the coast and was worth it just for the scenery. The Twin Otters often operated from the stub of Sydney's cross runway when weather permitted rather than mix with the jet traffic.
VH-ROX was registered in March 1970 and was still current in 2017. However photos of it 10 years earlier at Caloundra, Queensland, showed it in the open with no wings, tailplane, or rudder. Its location in 2017 is not known.
A former Masling Airlines aircraft, VH-MWE was used to help Aeropelican establish a commuter air service between Newcastle Belmont (now Lake Macquarie Airport) and Sydney Airport. It was withdrawn from use in 1981.
