On display at RAFM Hendon. Built in 1940, this Falco was deployed with the Corpo Aereo Italiano to Belgium, reaching on 19 Oct 1940 to fight alongside the Luftwaffe. During a daylight attack on 11 Nov 1940, the aircraft flown by Sergente Pilota Pietro Salvadori suffered a broken oil pipe, after which he put it down on the shingle beach at Orfordness. The pilot was taken prisoner, and the aircraft was thoroughly evaluated by AFDU at Duxford till 1942. It was earmarked early on as a museum exhibit, finally being shifted to the museum in 1978. It wears 95ᵃ Squadriglia, 18° Gruppo markings.
