A Sea Harrier with a story to tell. Built 1981 as an FRS.1 and serving at various times with 800, 801 and 899 NAS, in June 1983 it was involved in the 'Alraigo Incident' when it landed on the Spanish cargo ship 'Alraigo' after getting lost and almost out of fuel over the Atlantic Ocean near Portugal. Only lightly damaged, she was returned to service and was converted to F/A2 in 1992. Retired in September 2003, it arrived at Newark for the museum in July 2004
