Built as a Heron 2 and registered as VR-NCF in 1956. Reregistered as G-ARKW then to the Royal Navy as Sea Heron C.1 XR445 in 1961. Sold as G-ORSJ in 1990. Withdrawn from use at Wycombe Air Park in 1993 and scrapped in 1996.

Delivered to the RAF as WK635 in 1952. Transferred to the Royal Navy in 1971. Stored at Shawbury in 1994. Sold in 1997. Registered as N546PU in 1999 then G-HFRH in 2010. Painted in Royal Navy colours as WK635.

Three Sea Heron C1s of the Yeovilton Station Flight visited Schiphol on a cold December day. XR445 was delivered as VR-NCF on 11 January 1956, became G-ARKW on 17 March 1961 and was assigned to the Royal Navy in late 1978 and withdrawn from use on 19 December 1989. It was stored at RAF Shawbury and sold as G-ORSJ in April 1990. That registration was cancelled from the UK civil aircraft register on 23 August 1993. The Heron was dumped at Booker and the airframe was sadly scrapped in 1996.

Sandwich'd between XR441 and XR445, this Sea Heron visited Schiphol on a cold December day. XR445 was delivered as VR-NAQ on 13 April 19555 and became G-ARKU on 17 March 1961. Was delivered to the Fleet Air Arm Heron Flight on 24 August 1960. It was withdrawn from use on 19 December 1989. Following a storage period at RAF Shawbury it became G-ODLG on 31 August 1993. That was cancelled on 8 September 1993 when the Heron became VH-NJP. It is preserved at Bankstown (Australia), and then moved to Al Mahatta Aviation Museum Sharjah (UAE) as "G-ANFE".

XR441 leading a line of three Sea Heron C1s of the Yeovilton Station Flight, visiting Schiphol on a cold December day. XR441 is former G-AORG (registered on 1 May 1956. The aircraft was sold to the Fleet Air Arm / Royal Navy on 23 March 1961. The Sea Heron soldiered on until 19 December 1989 when it was withdrawn from use and sold as G-AORG (again!) on 18 May 1990. The Sea Heron was operated as such by the Duchess of Brittany (Jersey) Ltd, La Hinguette, Le Mont de La Rocque, Saint. Brelade, Jersey up to November 2011, when it was moved to the airbase Museum of Coventry Airport.
