Delivered to Switzerland as part of the US Foreign Military Sales program with serial 76-1556. The Tiger was assembled at Emmen and delivered to the Schweizer Luftwaffe on 13 February 1980. It was initially planned for preservation at Payerne, but the Tiger II was sold to the US Navy. The aircraft was modified to F-5N and received BuNo 761556.

Delivered to Switzerland as part of the US Foreign Military Sales program with serial 76-1552. It was delivered to the Schweizer Luftwaffe on 21 November 1979. The Tiger was sold to the US Navy and received BuNo 761152 and was modified to F-5N by January 2007.

This Tiger was sold to the Swiss Air Force with Foreign Military Sales serial 76-1572. It was assembled at Emmen and accepted on 27 August 1980. The aircraft returned to the States and started to serve the US Navy after a modification to F-5N as 761572 from October 2008.

Delivered to the Flugwaffe as part of the US Foreign Military Sales program with serial 81-0827. The Tiger was assembled at Emmen and accepted by the Swiss on 6 September 1983.

The wartime reserve air base of Turtmann was used only for two to three week a year during the so called Wiederholungskurs (refresher course). Reservist pilots were called for active duty to fly their Tigers.
