The P-811 was part of the twelve-strong order of Searchmaster Bs.

This P-843 is the ultimate Indonesian navy aviation (Tentara Nasional Indonesia - Angkatan Laut, TNI-AL) Nomad. This is the stretched variant and it was sourced second hand in New Zealand, formerly ZK-FVX. It is preserved 700 metres, as the crow flies, from the F-5F that is also preserved in this village. So do not forget to visit the Nomad when you go to get the Tiger!

Really this is P-818, devoid of its chin radome and painted up as "P-806". The real P-806 is also preserved, that is at Lamongan, near Surabaya on Eastern Java.

The looong version of the Nomad is the N24. Seen here is former RAAF aircraft A18-404, obtained by the Indonesian Navy in June 1997. It is preserved in the city forest park (Taman Hutan Kota) in Tuban, a village west of Surabaya near the northern coast of eastern Java.

There are two Nomads marked P-806 preserved in Indonesia, this one in the city park (Alun Alun) in this eastern Java town is believed to be the real one. The fake P-806 is the one at the Museum Soesilo Soedarman in Gentasari, Jawa Tengah (central Java).

Since 1983, a total of 285 CN235's have been built by CASA in Spain and IPTN-Nurtanio in Indonesia. While CASA - now Airbus Military - completed 215 units, IPTN assembled 70 airframes, mainly for the Indonesian armed forces, but also for some other asian air arms like Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia and Brunei. Pakistan, the UAE and lately Senegal in West-Africa also became IPTN customers. Well visible on this 2014 built airframe are the winglets, introduced to the MPA version. P-862 is based in Surabaya and is one of five operated by the TNI-AL. It has since been re-serialled to P-8303.
