nice replacement for a Fokker 28.. my ride to El Calafate (and also my last flight on a 707)

Leaving Ushuaia and Tierra Del Fuego behind us as we climb out over the Beagle channel after a runway 25 departure. The airport can clearly be seen on the left side, aswell as the beautiful mountain ridges that surround the city at the top of the frame. The other runway is the old main airport, which is now only used by the aeroclub. A fitting departure to a great stay.

Built in December 2011 as N8113Z. To Aerodata in February 2013 as D-CPNA. Cancelled in August 2013. Presumably not taken up as PA-26 and instead became PA-22.

The most amazing background to feature with an Airbus. The mountains of Isla Navarino, the Chilean Island south of Terra Del Fuego. This big jet was ready to return to El Calafate and Buenos Aires-Ezeiza. During the holiday season larger planes are used to carry tourists to and from Terra Del Fuego.
