This 1978 built airframe was initially registered N8296Q before becoming part of the 7th Day Adventist Church's aviation program (SDA Aviation) in Indonesia on 27 October 1980. It served the people of Papua till 2010, when it was exported to Australia and registered VH-OZA (3.). SDA Aviation then replaced it by a new Quest (now Daher) Kodiak 100, which also got registered PK-SDF. On April 9, 2014, the Kodiak crashed during take-off from SDA's homebase airstrip Doyo Baru located some 8 miles west of Sentani. Unfortunately, two of the five people on board including the pilot perished.

Built in early 1976, this PC-6 first went to Peru as 316 / OB-1146 to fly with the Fuerza Aerea del Peru - TANS. Between August 1995 and July 1998, it was registered as N4113F to Styles Aviation Inc. before being bought by the Seventh Day Adventist Church. SDA sent it to Papua Province in Indonesia, from where it flies since September 1998. Based at the small, SDA owned airstrip some 5 miles west of Sentani airport.
