This all weather day and night airborne early warning helicopter from the Indian Navy took part in the static display at Aero India 2025. It is equiped with state of the art retrectable air early warning radar E-180E, modern indigenous ESM System 'Sarang' (developed by DRDO) and tactical datalink.

The Kamov Ka-31 is derived from the Kamov Ka-27 and is a specialized Airborne Early Warning helicopter, its radar is folded under the fuselage. The Indian Navy was present at Aeroindia 2025 with various different aircraft and operates these helicopters to protect is fleet.
