The Hs 126 reconnaissance and observation aircraft first flew in 1936. This airframe was the V4 prototype and the second Hs 126A-0, first flown in April 1938 according to Flug Revue, who say that 884 Hs 126s were built with production ending in 1941. German postcard. Photo published in a British book in 1940.
