C8659 a protype Airco DH-10 Amiens fitted with two 360 hp Rolls-Royce Eagle VIII engines, this aircraft flying for the first time on 20th April 1918. The Airco DH10 Amiens was a twin engine medium size bomber designed by Geoffrey de Havilland for use in World War 1, but arrived too late see any real active war service. The DH-10 aircraft was eventually withdrawn from RAF service in April 1923. Scanned from an official reprinted de Havilland photograph (No 6198D), date and photographer unknown.
