Linair (Libya) was set up in Tripoli in 1962 to provide passenger and cargo charters on behalf of the energy industry. Shareholding was divided between local Libyan concerns and Sabena Belgian World Airlines, which provided the aircraft and technical support. In later years it operated for African Air Charters as N47FE. Written off on take-off Quelimane Airport, Mozambique 21 Apr 1988.
