The museum closed in 2015 and the Bell along with other airframes (C-47/B-25/SA330 and Aero Commander) have all moved. Plans for a National Museum of Energy Technology to replace it have yet to come to fruition.

A first-generation-Citation 500, built in 1974, parked on the CFE apron at Mexico City. - The small bizjet was last operated in Canada as C-GTNG. On 13/OCT/16 it crashed into mountains after departure from Kelowna in night IMC conditions; spatial disorientation of the single pilot was suspected as the possible reason for the accident.

Citation 500-0221 flew for the Mexican company CFE between 1975 and 1993. Registered as N24AJ afterwards, the aircraft spent its final active years in France; it was noted in storage at Marseilles, all white, in 2019. Two years later, it was acquired by Dodson Air Parts as a source of spares.

I think this was the most beautiful DC-3 that I ever saw. Unfortunately I don't have it in color. It is ex Wright Cyclone-powered American Airlines DC-3-178 NC16013, later converted to Pratt & Whitney-powered DC-3A and operated by the Mexican Federal Commission for Electricity. The aircraft's name simply means "The Torch".
