13 Feb 63: TOS. Feb 68: 314th TAW, Ching Chuan Kang, AB, Taiwan. Deployed for combat in Vietnam. Sep 71: 776th TAS/374th TAW, Ching Chang Kuan AB, Taiwan. 15 Apr 72: Suffered combat damage and heroic action by crew members saved the plane. May 74: 374th TAW moved to Clark AFB, Philippines. While there, the plane saw deployments to U Tapao RTAFB, Thailand and Kadena AB, Okinawa for combat. 1975: Returned to USA for duty. Oct 2010: 19th Airlift Wing, Little Rock AFB. Aug 11: Flew to the Air Force Museum for permanent display.

This C-130E had a long career, including a 1972 mission in which it was badly damaged during the Southeast Asia War, earning two Airmen the Air Force Cross. It was flown to the museum in August 2011
