This airframe was recovered from Iraq in 1979 and is likely built up from Sea Fury airframes from the Royal Navy and the Iraqi Air Force. The centre-section is definitely marked as ex-Fleet Air Arm WJ298. After restoration in November 1983 a CoA was issued, the plane was registered VH-HFG. In November 2006 it was transported to the USA and subsequently registered N97SF. This reg was cancelled in October 2019 and the frame exported to Germany and registered D-CRZY.
