Photographed during the Armed Forces' day, the 653 Squadriglia operated also for SAR duties. Nice to see the two Ground Handling Wheel assemblies parked aside on the grass. This helicopter sadly get lost on 26 April 2005, crashing on Monte Palanzone at 3300ft altitude in the Lake of Como area, during a training flight, and killing 5 of the 6 occupants.
