A Lithuanian-built LAK-9M Lietuva (meaning Lithuania) glider suspended from the roof in Monino's wooden hangar. Although resembling the far more common LAK-12, the LAK-9M has a two piece canopy instead of the one piece, forward hinging one of its successor, the LAK-12. Only eight of these LAK-9s were built.
