VH-BIF was flown to Archerfield airport in Brisbane in 1958 where an inspection revealed glued joints in the wing had deteriorated, It was then flown to Dundee Station near Charleville when it was parked among trees and left to the weather. In 1980 the remains were donated to the Queensland Air Museum and trucked to Brisbane, It was later moved to the museum at Caloundra.
