This An-2 was originally delivered to the Ukraine directorate of Aeroflot in November 1972 as CCCP-70342. In July 1976 it joined Universal-avia, acquired the registration UR-70342 and was used as a jump plane. In August 2004 the plane was trucked to Germany and later the original Soviet registration was painted on. It is currently undergoing restoration in Eitorf, where it has been rubbed down (fortunately the registration is still visible) prior to, presumably, repainting.
