A Polish-built Polikarpov Po-2, or WSK CSS-13, formerly operated by the Polish Air Force, can be seen here in Soviet colours with the excellent flying collection at Heringsdorf. It was first reported here in September 2011.

Also reported as D-EPOO, but that registration seems to be assigned to a PA-32. No civil registration is visible, so one may assume the aircraft is now preserved.

The ease of operation and maintenance as well as its tremendous ability to actually stay in the air led to over 44.000 Po-2s of all types being produced after the first flight on 7th January 1928. This particulat example was built in Poland in 1952.
