Visiting the base will result in a massive number of flight operartions, the day we logged twelve PC-21s which performed their training flights within 1,5 hour. This PC-21 made its first flight from the Pilatus factory in Stans (Switzerland) on 14 December 2020. It was delivered to the Ejercito del Aire (EdA, Spanish Air Force) on 14 September 2021. It is assigned to the Academia General del Aire (AGA) and carries the badge on its tail. The 792 code on the fuselage refers to 792 EscuadrĂ³n.

When ordering PC-21 aircraft in late 2019 / early 2020, the Spanish Air Force became the 10th operator of this advanced training system. The airframe pictured here is the first of 24 on order and had it's first flight on December 20, 2020. It is currently used to train the spanish flight instructors. None of the currently six flying spanish PC-21's have been delivered at the time of upload. The PC-21 fleet will be based at Murcia/San Javier (LELC) some 80 kilometers south of Alicante.
