Perfect angle for the happy few south of the display line. The duals wear the last two of the serial on the nose and pylons, whereas the single-seater 15-2472 has the whole serial repeated on the nose.

Contrary to the single seaters, the UM versions have the wing root cannon and bare metal fuselage protection plate on the right-hand side instead of the left. They also lack the chaff/flare dispensers of the M version.

Full reheat, persicope retracted. Around half of some 30 defected Iraqi Air Force Su-22s were restored from unsheltered storage in Iran after the Iraq War, and refurbished to operational status. Two were returned to Iraq and an estimated 12 were active with the IRGASF at the photo date, of which two-thirds dual seat UM versions.
