Delivered to the US Air Force on 6 December 1972, this massive heavy lifter was pictured in its original livery during its landing at "the Hall". After its military career, the Galaxy was stored at the 309th AMARG with inventory code CM0001 from November 2003. The aircraft was offered for sale by tender on 23 May 2022 and was moved from the depot by 11 July 2012. It was subsequently scrapped by New Phoenix Metals at Tucson.
