Airlines in Botswana is an interesting story. Bechuanaland National Airways existed between 1965 and 1966 before going out of business. Then in 1966 Botswana National Airways entered the stage. However, they lasted only three years. In 1970 and 1971 it was Botswana Airways. Since 1972 it has been Air Botswana. VQ-ZEG is seen here at Lusaka in June of 1968 having been delivered in January. It was reregistered A2-ZEQ in June/July of that year.
