The Navy yellow looks much smarter on the Stearman than the Army blue in my opinion. Still yellow, this aircraft has since been repainted in the markings of an RAF Kaydet in Canada.

This Kaydet was taken on charge by the US Navy as 43436. After decomissioning it was placed on the civil register as N1330M in 1948 and by 1953 was being flown as a crop duster. In 1969 it was converted to a two-seater and subsequently was registered N43GK and N785L. In 1987 it underwent a restoration after which it reverted back to N43GK and was acquired by Classic Trainers in 2010 with a USN Yellow Peril scheme. At some point over the past few years this has been changed to 'FJ934' RAF markings.
