One of the last remaining An-2s used for dropping parachutists in Germany. Unfortunately she was not busy that sunny Sunday afternoon. The nets over the wings should protect the Antonov against hail.
Registration / Serial:D-FJJF
Aircraft Version:Antonov An-2TD

This Colt was first delivered to the East German Sport and Technology Association called GST (Gesellschaft für Sport und Technik) in March 1970 as DM-WJF (subsequently DDR-WJF). It then acquired the registration D-FJJF upon reunification and has been used as a parachute jump ship ever since. The plane is currently parked at EDAG, presumably awaiting the end of the Covid-19 pandemic and the drip tray under the engine suggests the plane is still airworthy. The Fallschirmsportverein (Parachute Club) Rüwalders titles are on the tail.
