Built at nearby Letňany and delivered by Avia to CSA in March 1958, OK-MCI performed its last scheduled service in September 1975 having accumulated a TT of 19,435 hours and was flown to Kbley at the end of the year for preservation. When I first saw it in 1991 it was badly weathered but in 2020 was treated to this superb repaint, to take for me what is probably the no.1 position among photographically appealing targets in this wonderful collection

What a beautifull restoration! This part of the museum was partly fenced off, making photography extra difficult.

This Czechoslovak Crate entered service with CSA on 3rd April 1958 and flew with the airline until 5th December 1975. It was stored for a long time on the grass at Kbely air base but has now been moved into the museum area for display. The aircraft was completely stripped and has now been repainted into this gorgeous old CSA scheme.
