This MiG21 was build in 1975 and after 1990 it became 23+46 inside the joined Luftwaffe. Later after retirement in 1991 it went to the Kunstpark Olmes at Emlichheim (Not far from Emmen, Netherlands) and put on display on a pole as seen on this slide scan. It was first noted in the summer of 2002.

This 1975 built MiG-21 is seen on the flightline of Jagdgeschwader 3 (JG3) at Preschen. The aircraft was eventually transferred to the Luftwaffe as 23+46. It was withdrawn from use at Rothenburg in July 1991. The MiG is preserved at Emlichheim (Kunstpark Olmes) from July 2002.
