Scheduled late afternoon arrival on to Rw 05 operating SQ277 from Singapore. During taxiway, Lima 2, works, Adelaide's main runway 05/23 was approximately 3,800 ft shorter at the 23 end. Whilst having minimal effect on 05 ops, there was a displaced threshold in effect at the 23 end and because of the shortened runway, Singapore Airlines ceased carrying cargo on its Adelaide flights for the duration of the displaced threshold.
