After its service life Neptune 210 was transferred to the KLM technical school. It was transported by vessel from Valkenburg to Schiphol. Here it is lifted on board of the barge near the Haagsche Schouw bridge in Leiden not far from Valkenburg. The KLM logo is already on the nose of the aircraft.
When WFU in 1982 the aircraft was handed over to KLM as instructional airframe. It received a KLM livery. Now on display in the Aviodrome in Royal Netherlands Navy colours, remnants of the former KLM colours can be seen on the rear fuselage.
