Grumman Widgeon production was continued by SCAN in France from 1948. The venture was not a success and 29 incomplete aircraft were shipped to California where some were converted to PACE Gannet standard with Lycoming R-680 engines by Pacific Aircraft Engineering Co from Sun Valley. Built under license in France by Societe de Constuctions Aero-Navales (SCAN) in the late 1940s to early 1950s and called the SCAN 30. Some found their way to the US and were converted to PACE Gannet standard with the Lycoming R-680 as here. This one is in operation with Riverton Airways having been imported in 1959 and cancelled by the FAA as N701Q on 5 June 2019.
