Operated as a transport aircraft on routes in the South West Pacific. Fully civilianised with a 26 seat cabin during 1946. On September 30, 1947 transferred to National Airways Corporation as ZK-AMG to continue services to Fiji. Returned to the RNZAF in May 1949 but not taken on charge again until February 1951. Ex RAAF aircraft that was declared unserviceable after being damaged by hail in 1946 while stored at RAAF Rathmines. Purchased by Bryan Monkton and converted to BOAC Hythe standard with 36 seats. Registered to Trans Oceanic Airways and used on inaugurate flights from Sydney to Grafton, Hobart and eventually Port Moresby. Lost a propeller and reduction gear near Sydney on April 16, 1951.
