Ex VH-USP. Sold in New Zealand in March 1936. Shipped back to Australia two months later for a planned leisurely flight to Java via Western Australia. Six days into the trip on May 24 ZK-AEA crashed at Cardogan Station, Eumungerie while performing a low pass as the pilot waved to his hosts. The pilot, the only person onboard, was killed.
