The 'Silver Spitfire' IX MJ271 was stripped down of all armament, and all WWII camouflage for a multi point stop flight (74) to 30+ regions around the World called 'The Longest Flight', now the Spitfire Expedition. Original idea Matt Jones & Steve Brooks owners of 'Boultbee Flight Academy' /'Spitfire.Com' based Goodwood UK, to circum navigate the World in a Spitfire for many who had never seen a Spitfire, to be able to do so. Departing 5th August 2019 from Goodwood Aerodrome, 75th anniversary of D-Day, returning four months later. Silver Spitfire, today operated by ANPARTSSELSK, Denmark.
