Built as the second prototype L-29 OK-02 in 1963. Converted to single seat aerobatic L-29A OK-05 in 1967 then to the Czechoslovak Air Force as 0517. Registered as OK-SZA for the 1969 Paris Airshow. Preserved at Letecké Muzeum Kunovice by 1987.

This is one of only two single-seat L-29A Akrobats produced. It was converted from the prototype OK-02 (cn 00031) in 1967, given the test registration OK-05 and then delivered to the Czechoslovak AF as 0517 . The aircraft was presented at the Paris air show as OK-SZA under the exhibit number 804 (note '804' and 'Akrobat' are on the port side only) but is now on display at this super museum. Note the dolphin (delfin in Czech) on the side was painted by the famous Czech cartoonist Paul Kantonek.

The L-29A was a single-seat Delfin, dedicated to aerobatics. Only a few examples were built. Note the dolphin artwork.
