With the Royal Canadian Mounted Police from new in 1954 as CF-MPO. Bought by Alaska West Air Service Inc, Kenai, Alaska, in 1996, becoming N87AW and immediately being turbined as a Vazar DHC-3T conversion. Seen here on very short finals for touchdown on Anchorage's Lake Hood. Carries a "STOL" logo on the tail.

Operated by Alaska West Air. Formerly C-FMPO, it was delivered in Jan 96 as a standard Otter and converted to a Vazar Turbine version by Mar 96. On 28 May 2011 it was significantly damaged in a landing accident/overrun at a private airstrip. It was repaired by mid 2012 and eventually re-entered service with Alaska West Air. Reported still in service in 2018.
