Sold in Australia as VH-ORA. Confusion exists as the true identity of this aircraft. The original N8307 was destroyed in a crash in 1978. It was resurrected using the fuselage of an ex-US Army aircraft. The FAA continued using the same USMC serial (129020) as the first aircraft. It has therefore continued to be c/n 55102, which is correct for 129020. While VH-ORA is reputed to have the dataplate from the US Army aircraft, what it says remains unknown.
