ex G-4-59, PA-51 (Argentina Navy), LX-ABC. Became N190WW, WFU in 2023 and preserved

This plane has a dark history: During the military dictatorship in Argentina (1976 - 1983) this plane, which used to belong to the Argentinean Naval Prefecture (registered PA-51) was said to have been used for "death flights" in which those who opposed the dictatorship were thrown off while flying over the ocean. The current government has requested this plane be returned to Argentina so it can be preserved in a museum. In late June 2023 it arrived to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery and there, a special ceremony was held.

This Shoebox was originally delivered to the Argentinian Navy in June 1971 and then to CAe Aviation as LX-ABC in August 1989. It went to GB Airlink in November 2002 and is pictured here climbing out from rw09L. The frame was sold to Win Aviation in July 2019 and is apparently still current.
