Taxiing at its Kenmore Air Harbor base on Lake Washington. Taken on charge by the USAF in 1952 as an L-20A, 51-16504. Saw military service in Japan. Withdrawn and put into storage at MASDC, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1973. Registered to Solano Community College, Fairfield, CA as N49283. Became N690 with Barry Turner of San Jose, CA in 1990. Transferred to Larry W. Gallery of Brookings ,OR in 1992. Joined Kenmore Air in 1999 for a short season. By December 1999, moved to John Deal LLC of Yarrow Point, WA.

Built as L-20A 51-16504, it was delivered to the US Army in June 1952 and served mainly in Japan until consigned to the MASDC, as it then was, "boneyard" at Tucson in March 1973. It was civilianised as N49238 at an unknown date and re-registered N690 on 7th November 1990.
