Delivered new to Century Airlines in 1931 as N11153. In 1932, Century was absorbed by American Airways. Later flown by Chicago and Southern Airways, and Chesapeake Airways. Converted to a bug sprayer, then purchased by R.P. Rice in 1964. Mr. Rice restored the a/c back to original configuration. In 1972 it was sold to Mr. Dave Allyn. In 1996 acquired by Yellowstone Aviation of Jackson, WY. To Pleasant Aviation, Inc. in 2019. This is the oldest surviving American Airlines aircraft. This a/c participated in the September 2003 National Air Tour and was assigned number "29" for the event.

1931-built tri-motor airliner which served with American Airlines. It is maintained in airworthy condition by Greg Herrick's Golden Wings Collection based at Anoka Blaine.
