The first production C-27J was shown at the IAT 2000. The aircraft (test serial CSX62216) was sold to Lithuanian Air Force as 06. It was first reported as such at the manufacturers plant in Torino-Caselle (Italy) on 18 December 2006. The Spartan was delivered to the Lithuanian Transporto Eskader at Siauliai air base on 27 December 2006.

In 2006 became the first of three C-27s for Lithuania, assigned '06 Blue'

Exhibited by its manufacturer at RIAT. Marked "1st Production Std. A/C". Subsequently delivered to Lithuania.
