Registered to George Brothers, Ware, Herts, November 1971 and Permanently Withdrawn from Use, 21 March 1973. Written off (destroyed) 10/4/72 when ditched into the English Channel, about two miles off Hythe, Kent. A contemporary newspaper report gives further details ("Birmingham Daily Post" - Tuesday 11 April 1972) "TWO RESCUED Two people were rescued after a light aircraft crashed into the English Channel about two miles from Hythe, Kent, last night. They were picked up by a coaster and taken to Dover. The two-seater biplane was flying from Le Touquet to Ashford airport, Lympne."
