Dutch pilots flew five British-registered Dominies on an early UN mission in the Middle East. KLM captains Herman Bolte and Henk Nijdam set out in G-AKOP and G-AGWP from Schiphol on 27 August 1948. The British registrations were removed upon arrival in Beirut. G-AGWP became UN-71. The aircraft ended up in Congo in 1960 as OO-CJE. Photo from: Nederlands Instituut voor Militaire Historie
