The second and last Saro Windhover, G-ABJP served with Gibraltar Airways in 1931 on a route to Tangier. In May 1932 it was acquired by Mildred Mary Bruce for a go at the world in-flight-refuelled endurance record, which stood at a whopping 23 days! Bristol Fighter G-ABXA served as a tanker. Three attempts in August 1932 were unsuccessful, with the longest flight lasting only 54 hours. G-ABJP was finally used by Jersey Airways between 1935 and 1938.
