Seen at Filton shortly after the restoration to flying condition was completed in June 1961. Overall silver with civil registration G-ABBB - the only genuine identity ever allocated. First public appearance was 24 June following a test flight the previous day by Geoffrey Auty. Repainted July 1961 as 'K2227', a Bulldog of B Flight, No.56 (Fighter) Squadron North Weald 1933.
