This Hip was built originally as a Mi-8P and TOC with the NVA as 990. The frame was later converted to a Mi-8PS before being incorporated into the reunified German AF as 9344 (93+44). It was initially preserved at a couple of locations in Austria but has been stored in this yard close to Vienna since around 1997.
