The best German fighter of the Great War, the D.VII served with many countries after WWI, including Holland, where Anthony Fokker returned, and the USA. After its stint in the US Army Air Service, this airframe starred in Howard Hughes' air war movie 'Hell's Angels'. Preserved in early Dutch 'orange meatball' markings.
