This is a 3/4 scale Mosquito which first flew on 23rd April 2011. It looks remarkably like the full size aircraft, a real tribute to the 30,000 hours and 17 years of work. The livery is that of an aircraft lost on 15th January 1945 in Norway, piloted by Max Guedj with Flight Lieutenant Langley as Navigator. It was a welcome visitor to the LAA Rally. It was seriously damaged on 7th August 2015 at Fontenay-le-Comte as a result of a ground loop.

Unfortunately I did not see this beautiful aircraft fly on this occasion. It is a 3/4 scale Mosquito which first flew on 23rd April 2011. Superb airworthy 75% scale replica painstakingly built by Reconstructions & Repliques d'Avions Anciens. It wears the 'NE' code letters of 143 Squadron RAF which flew Mosquitos on strike operations during 1944/45, including the original FB.VI PZ460.
